We would like to recognize the exceptional work of Lily Dempewolf, a dedicated fifth grader who presented the history of Native American Boarding Schools at our recent school assembly. Lily demonstrated outstanding research skills by gathering comprehensive information, which she then used to craft an informative and visually impactful display board. Her presentation brought attention to a somber and significant chapter in American history, and her thoughtful, heartfelt delivery resonated deeply with both students and staff.

We commend Lily for her thorough understanding of this important topic and her ability to communicate it so effectively. Her work serves as a reminder of the importance of learning from history and fostering awareness within our community. For those who were unable to attend the assembly, Lily's display will be available for viewing in the office.
