On Friday, December 13th, we had a wonderful night at 'O Me-nok Learning Center! With the help of the Arcata Playhouse, our 4th and 5th graders worked together to construct puppets and put on a shadow puppet show for our community, sharing the story of The Beautiful Buzzard. It was amazing to see their teamwork behind the scenes, and they did a fantastic job bringing the story to life. A big thank you to the Arcata Playhouse, Yurok Wellness Coalition, KPN, and the Yurok Tribe Tribal Heritage Program for their support and funding as part of the Skue Yech son-ee-nah collaborative community project.
